“Deepankar” and “Swagata” were introduced in the same school. They studied together until class 2, after which they went separate ways to high school. Initially, Deepankar had a crush on Swagata, and he expressed his feelings by sending her gifts, hiding behind windows to see her return from school, calling her from a public phone booth, and even writing love letters while stopping on the street. He did everything a typical lover would do. Our story’s protagonist eventually fell in love with the hero. It all started in October 2007 when they began sharing their secret thoughts over the phone, gradually leading to the development of their relationship, which solidified over the years
Deepankar’s actions were one of our favorite and emotionally charged moments. Why not make it the first project of a visual story? He contacted us all the way from Canada, planning and coordinating. We loved working with him, leaving our familiar city behind to work with the people from village. The main project was the union of Nator and Magura. We were both excited and nervous about the Village Hindu wedding. Whether we realize it or not, we are always thrilled when we see the beauty of earthy homes and Village surroundings. We started from the bride’s house in Magura, we traveled to Nator with the groom. Hindu weddings are always a challenge for a photographer. We had nearly 48 hours of continuous work.।
We made every effort to capture the essence of the story. The most enjoyable part of the entire project was taking photos on the Hardinge Bridge. Deepankar had already been told that he must manage his time well, and despite facing many difficulties with his in-laws, he managed to leave three hours earlier so that he could get the opportunity to take photos
